RESULT 1: Course conceptualization + curriculum development and MOOC outline
SUHET project tackles the evolving needs of the high-end tourism sector through a unique MOOC (R2) specifically designed for participating regions – Finland, Spain, Slovenia, Belgium and Bulgaria. To ensure the course is current and future-proof, a multi-pronged approach is used. Current research, business surveys, participatory seminars, and student testing through blended mobility all contribute to the MOOC content development. This collaborative effort, involving teachers, industry partners, and students, is a key innovation. It breaks from traditional methods by deeply integrating tourism businesses throughout the process, ensuring the SUHET curriculum reflects the latest trends and needs in the high-end tourism market.
